Senior conceptual designer and concept artist George Hull was kind enough to share some of the concept artwork he created for ‘Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.2′.

Among other things, he made designs for the ship called the Quadrant, which was originally a piece of the large Ravager ship the Eclector, which Yondu was the captain of, he also created some cool concept art of the laser drillship, which Yondu and Peter fly in the third act among other things.

The Quadrant could be the Guardians’ primary ship in the upcoming movies since it’s the one ship they’re in as Vol. 2 ends. In the images below you see a bit of how it developed and how it changed, the final designs, and a better idea of what the interior looks like, as well as its scale.

George has also worked on feature films such as Jupiter Ascending, Elysium, Cloud Atlas, The Amazing Spider-Man, Battleship, Transformers: Dark of the Moon and Iron Man 2, Star Wars: The Force Awakens, Blade Runner 2049, Godzilla: King of Monsters and many others.
