Fans of the sci-fi movie Edge of Tomorrow from 2014 have been clamoring for a sequel for years now, including star Tom Cruise and director Doug Liman. While things are still up in the air, the sequel is definitely moving forward, with an official title and confirmed return of co-star Emily Blunt.
“We have an amazing story! It’s incredible! Way better than the first film, and I obviously loved the first film. It will be called Live Die Repeat and Repeat. Tom [Cruise] is excited about it, and Emily Blunt is excited about it. The big question is just when we’ll do it. But it’s not an if, it’s a when,”

With the sequel moving forward, why not celebrate the 2014 movie and its beautiful aesthetics by showcasing the concept art by artist Kev Jenkins. Jenkins was brought on at the very early stages of production. He then led the team that helped conceptualize and develop the exosuit which took about six months.
Edge of Tomorrow is based on the Japanese science fiction light novel ‘All You Need Is Kill’ by Hiroshi Sakurazaka with illustrations by Yoshitoshi ABe. Similar to the movie, the novel follows a soldier named Keiji Kiriya, who, after dying in a battle with extraterrestrials, is caught in a time loop that makes him live the same day repeatedly, allowing Kiriya to improve his fighting skills.
