Conceptual Designer Peter Popken has contributed to more than 40 feature films with paintings that influence the overall look, mood, and emotion that move a story. His work ranges from environments and set designs to character-, costume, creature, prop illustrations and picture vehicles.

He contributed designs to several film projects of the Wachowski siblings and the Marvel franchises Thor and The Avengers. Among his credits are V for Vendetta, The Bourne Supremacy, Prince of Persia, Mission: Impossible, and Martin Scorsese’s Hugo. In 2015 Popken joined the Blade Runner 2049 Art Department and worked on the movie until July 2016.
